This family-run hotel has a swimming pool set in an interior courtyard and a complimentary continental breakfast is served each morning in the bright breakfast room, which has a terrace. The public areas of the hotel are air- conditioned and there is a bar. Concierge services including tour assistance are available. From May to September the hotel runs a Beach Service (surcharge) which which offers transfers and entrance to a private beach, and includes use of the sun loungers and parasols.

Expert Tip. Seventeen kilometres from Taormina, on the slopes of Mount Etna, is the Castagno di Cento Cavilli, the Chestnut Tree of 100 Horses. This tree, split into three trunks, is reputed to be 2000 years old and is named from a legend that it sheltered 100 knights on horseback one stormy night.
