ABOUT
Located 176 km from Guwahati, Manas national park has unmatched natural beauty. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in Assam that is deemed to be Tiger Reserve by the Project Tiger. The sanctuary also conserves golden langur and red Panda which attracts wildlife fans from all across India. It is famed as one of the best kept National Parks in all India.

The Elephant safari is best enjoyed in this particular national park, both at dawn and dusk the scenic beauty of the wild comes alive. It is best to avoid visiting here in monsoons because the rains flood the forest heavily. It is best to drive down to the sanctuary from Guwahati because of the highly motorable roads.
