Standing tall in the middle of the Man-Sarovar Lake, Jal Mahal in Jaipur is a beautiful structure that was built in the 18th century. Reflecting a 'Rajputana' style, it was constructed by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber. It's interesting to note that you can take a boat ride to this Mahal, sitting elegantly in the handcrafted wooden boats. These boats have been nicely done by the skilled boat makers of Vrindavan.

Whether it's the fragrant Chameli Bagh or decorated chambers and hallways, you can explore this place the way you want. Also, you can view ancient forts and temples along with the Aravalli hills that make up for this place's likeability. And, if bird watching interests you, then you will definitely get a chance to spot Pochards, Coot, Kestrel, Flamingo and many other interesting species over here.
