Pressed for time? take heart. Here’s a perfect one-day trip to Jaipur, so that you don’t miss out on the splendour and charm of the pink city.

Amber Fort

Start early and head towards Amber Fort, which is situated on the outskirts of Jaipur. Located high on a hill, this magnificent palace is known for its extremely beautiful architecture and was built more than 4 centuries ago by Raja Man Singh I and still retains all its stately grandeur. The interiors of the palace are equally impressive, favoured with wall carvings and paintings, carved with fascinating precious stones and mirrors. When here, don’t forget to take the elephant ride uphill, this will make you feel royal and pampered just like the kings and queens who once lived here.

Well one can do a lot on a one day trip to Jaipur. So 1st thing is to start the city tour by 9 AM by just hiring a local cab company, try Rajputana Cabs. So 1st drive towards Pink city area and explore City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and the local markets which are Bapu bazzar and Johari bazzar. Then have your lunch, suggested place in LMB restaurant in pick city area. Now more towards the Amer region which is the easten part of the city, Here you can see Jal Mahal, Amber fort and Nagargarh & Jaigarh fort. Now these all will be finished by 7 PM. So now if you have any energy left the visit Chokhi Dhani which is near to Jaipur airport and the program here starts after 7. Plus Jaipur can't be explored in a day. You need atleast 2 days to visit all the local sights and 2 more days to see some amazing attractions 50-100 kms away from Pink city like Samode Palace, Bhangarh, Abhaberi etc.
