As kids the dream we’ve all shared is a visit to Disneyland. But did you know there’s a lot about the place that isn't so apparent? So here’s a list of 10 things you didn't know about Disneyland parks to make sure that you know just a tad bit more than others!


There are underground tunnels in most of the parks for cast and crew of various shows to travel without being seen.

Some of the haunted rides in Disneyland like the Pirates of the Carribean use real skeletons for the set up.

Disneyland is house to the world’s most exclusive and elite club, called Club 33. The waiting list for membership is over 10 years long.

Walt Disney picked 1313 Howard Boulevard as the address for the first Disney Park. 13 corresponds to the letter M in the alphabet and the address corresponds to Mickey Mouse’s initials.

In the California Disney Park, there is a secret apartment above the firehouse where Walt Disney used to initially reside. The lights still stay on in his memory.

None of the shops in Disneyland sell chewing gum to prevent any being stuck on the rides, tables or benches.

There are lots of hidden Mickey Mouse heads all over the Disney parks. From paintings to benches, they can be found in several places.

People try to throw ashes of their deceased relatives on some of the rides every year, despite it being illegal.

To make the surroundings seem real, devices called smellitizers can be found installed all around the park. They emit scents that make the atmosphere seem ever so real!

Hmm love every thing about it except for the real skeletons part...that is spoooky.....
