All about traffic rules in India

0 people found this answer useful Useful ?Yes

Main nikla oh gaddi le ke, oh raste par, oh sadak mein, ek mod aya mein uthe signal todh aaya”. Who says we Indians don’t abide by the traffic rules and regulations? In fact, we are so sincere and enthusiastic in following them that we create our very own convenient set of traffic laws. ;-)

WHERE 1+1=3

Who said a two-wheeler is only meant for two people. Haven’t heard about the “Indian jugaad” ? It’s the heart that matters to Indians and not the seating capacity!

WHERE WRONG IS ALWAYS RIGHT

The one-way road is always a two-way road for Indians. Taking the wrong lane is every Indian’s birthright!

THAT'S HOW WE CONTROL SPEED

As if speed breakers were not enough to control the speed of vehicles, we have manholes, pits and sewer lines open.

EQUALITY ON ROADS

The Indian roads are not just meant for buses, cars, two-wheeler vehicles but cattle too! Don’t be surprised if you see cows on the road; they have equal right to be on the roads.

HAPPINESS IS PARKING IN A "NO PARKING" ZONE

Parking in a “NO PARKING” zone is one of the most important traffic rules people abide by in India. Result: Blocked roads with people fighting for space. Yes, this happens only in India! :-D

KAB TAK BACH PAAOGE ;-)

If you think people wear helmet or a seat belt to prevent accidents, you may be wrong. They only wear it when they see the traffic police, that too only to escape from the “challan kating” ritual.

YANA RASCALA, MIND IT

“Autowallahs” are a full-time Rajinikanth. These superheroes rule the Indian roads and don’t need any permission to overtake from whichever side they want without honking or changing lanes without indicators.

DHOOM MACHALE, DHOOM MACHALE, DHOOM

Only we Indians know how to turn any road into a racing track. With our wheel power and competitive skills, we can make the traffic sense go for a six!
