All Flights Suspended Till April 14 As India Opts For A Complete Lockdown

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared a three-week nationwide lockdown calling it the only way to break the COVID-19 infection cycle. 

Both domestic and international commercial airline operations will be suspended until April 14. Additionally, all transport services such as rail, suburban trains and roadways will also cease operations for the next three weeks.

The government confirmed that all essential services will remain open. Grocery shops, Banks, ATMs, petrol pumps and hospitals will continue to function.

The number of COVID-19 cases has surpassed 500 in India, and the next three weeks are extremely crucial for the entire country.
