Its an amazing place especially in rains and winters. One shouldn't go there in blazing heat. In winters it is like a hill station. Do take a camera with you to capture awesome moments. Do not miss the sound and light show which starts at 7pm.

This fort is amazing. It is so tall that you could see the entire city from the top. Also the fort looks amazing even today. The interiors and exteriors are still not damaged and stand strong. A truly breathtaking fort. A must visit place.

Considering the magnificence of the fort's outer walls and main gate, you would expect a bit more inside it. Its depressing state is just unbelievable, specially considering the importance that this fort has in history.

Amber fort is a famous destination in Jaipur. Visiting this place can take up to 1 full day so start early in morning so that you can roam around full day in fort complex. You can also take an elephant ride in around Rs.500 per person so that it would be easy with family to visit this place. From the top of the fort you can see marvelous Pink city in its full glory. The fort complex is very large and spread over large area. Major attractions of this place is Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khaas,Jai Mandir, Yash Mandir, ganesh Pol and Singh Pol to name a few. There is sukh mandir, yash mandir and Sheesh mahal as well. The fort seems a bhool bhulaiya to me and it is never easy to visit this place lonely if you are first time visitor. Plan your trip in winters for Amber Fort.

The place is amazing with an impressive complex and the views are breathtaking. Not much far from the city, roughly 10km. take a guide with you and an elephant ride because its a long way up to the fort. The architecture, the stone work is amazing. Avoid visiting during hot summer days. Enjoy the views and the marvelous structures.

I visited to AMER fort with my family,The Amer Fort, situated in Amber, 11 kilometers from Jaipur, is one of the most famous forts of Rajasthan, mer was once known as Dhundar and was ruled by the Kachhwahas from the 11th to the 16th century,The structure has four different parts, each with a separate entrance. The main entry to the fort is through the 'Suraj Pol' or Sun Gate which opens up into the main courtyard. It is very nice historical place
