very reasonably priced good breakfast.

by MerseysideLynn on 25 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

I have stayed at this 5 times now. We have always been welcomed by reception staff. It is very basic and consists of small room and shower room. Always found to be clean and well heated. Always at a cheap price particularly in winter months. The botel is accessed by a free ferry from the back of central train station. The ferry takes 10 mins and docks right near to botel. They run every half hour up to 23.45pm The breakfast is very adequate and is self service consisting of yoghurt, cereal, br...

A Floating Hotel

by Gruesome-Twosome2017 on 25 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed here early Sept 2016 for 3 nights. It was busy and we were given a small room at the stern with only a porthole for a window. The Botel is moored at the 'other side' of the river, but the FREE! ferries leave frequently and run for 24 hours! The room was perfectly adequate for a budget short or overnight stay - just remember - it IS a Cabin and will therefore have an economy of space. When we were there is was very hot weather so the porthole didn't offer a lot of cooler airflow for...

Budget but good for the price and great location!

by charliehooley on 22 Jan 2017

The hotel was a bargain, no doubt about that! It was very basic, no hair dryer, fridge, toiletries etc, but there was a safe, the beds were comfy, the room was warm. The bathroom in our room was tiny, more like a wet room, but the shower was good; very warm and good pressure. Breakfast was included in our price, this again was basic but good. Im a veggie so didn't have the bacon & sausages, but there was beans, toast, yogurt and salad bits. The only down side that I would consider if you were tr...

Weekend Break

by Barry M on 20 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

The Botel is clean and the staff are friendly. This hotel is quirky with a great free ferry ride to the centre. Breakfast is tasty with lots of choice . It's on a quiet spot on the dam , there is also a few bars and restaurants near by and a 75 minute boat trip which includes a meal for 18e .

by Dani S on 19 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Stayed in a double room, bed was ok not the most comfortable but very clean and new sheets daily was nice The room was small and basic but all we needed to sleep in only as Amsterdam has so much to offer The shower was powerful and hot, the view out of the window was fab especially at night over the canals/city It was b&b - breakfast was fine croissants were delicious and warm Coffee machine was too strong for me The check in desk staff were great and helpful when asking questions The ferr...
