Wonderful place, wonderful welcome

by SGTiger on 05 Jan 2019 (Family Traveller)

We spent 2 nights here. The welcome we got from Mini, Tom, Davis and Ari was phenomenal. We had the most amazing food - and the most interesting / diverse of our Kerala trip. We had a cooking class and learnt to make a prawn curry. And then ate it. Our boy hacked open coconuts under the watchful eye of Mini and helpers. Learnt how to make a mean curry here..........

by Taz68Harrow on 16 Oct 2018 (Couple Traveller)

Stayed here as part of a cycling tour. The house is an old heritage building and the grounds are big and spacious with hammocks to laze in. Minis cooking was a delight and gave me a cooking lesson and taught me the secret of a good chicken curry! The room was lovely, spacious and the air conditioning was great. The beach is a couple of minutes walk away and I thought it was lovely. There is a small pool which is lovely for those warm evenings. They were very welcoming and the food was fab. We di...

Authentic and blissful

by zofoto on 01 Jan 2018

Abi and the whole family were exceptional. They always went out of their way from the moment I arrived to make me feel at home. The 300 year old home made it all come together for the depth of history and authenticity. Abi also hooked me up with any local activity I wanted to do with negotiated prices from the get go. Sure, they’re not local prices, but you won’t g...

Sshh! Don't tell anyone about this.

by ColinBellBath on 13 Nov 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Abi and Mimi are the perfect hosts here in this idyllic tropical setting on the Arabian coast. The bungalows are well appointed and are very spacious. The beds are very comfortable and big. Arakal Heritage is alone on this part of the coast, no hotels; no restaurants; nothing. You have the 2 kilometer beach all to yourself save for the fishermen and Sea Eagles. Sheer Bliss! The Sahib

Just a fine paradise to stay and enjoy your holidays. The beaches, surroundings of the hotel is so excellent that makes you very happy. The customer service is also very fine that you will not have any discomfort in anything. The food is also excellent here. Will come again if possible.
