Blyth’s Tragopan (Tragopan blythii) is an endangered species of pheasants. It is highly improbable that you will see one of these in Kufri, mainly because their habitat is primarily confined to North-East India, Bhutan, Tibet and parts of China and Myanmar. Though little is known about their migratory behaviour, studies state that these birds rarely travel large distances.
