Lovely room & great breakfast

by undefined on 05 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Quite a good walk in distance from the train station, but in a good location for exploring Verona. A bit of confusion upon arrival as we couldn't get a reply when we rang on the intercom. Apparently we had missed an email requesting confirmation of our arrival time so someone could be present to let us in. Anyhow the guy on arrival was very friendly and the room we had, for just the one night was lovely. The best of our whole stay in Italy. Clean, modern, more luxurious than other rooms we had s...

Not to bad for staying if going to the opera in the arena for one night.

by Jimk41 on 12 Jul 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed for one night,as we were going to the opera, the B&B is in an ideal location for this. The room was quite spacious and clean and tidy. The shower was not very powerful and went from very hot to very cold. There is a balcony, however it looks onto a roof and other apartments. Breakfast in the morning was in a nice pleasant area and was fine. I would not recommend staying more than one night.

Venice night.

I had one night in the Green Room, loved everything, the room, Windows opening on to the canal, excellent bathroom, breakfast ( fresh strawberries from Eleonora's garden!) Eleonora provided excellent information regarding the local area, restaurants & the property. I tried the two she suggested & loved both.... lots of locals eating. I would recommend Al Teatro strongly, it is in such a great position for a short stay too. Thank you Eleonora.

Cheap stay in central location, not the most comfortable/luxurious choice

by jo T on 21 Dec 2015 (Family Traveller)

We stayed in the "Family Room" with two young children. As others have said, the location is good; central enough to be walking distance of most key sites but also close enough to walk to the train station (1.5km or about 1 mile) and cheaper eateries. It is off the main street so is relatively quiet once the opera-goers leave at around 10pm. It is good value if you are not going to spend much time in the hotel and don't mind the following downsides: 1. The curtain was white, making it bright f...

Quite an excellent B & B.

by NigelC595 on 09 Oct 2015 (Family Traveller)

It is all about location, location......a short walk from the Arena and about 1.5kms from Verona Porto Nuova rail and up Corso Nuova following signs to to the PAM supermarket and turn into Piazza dei Mutilati. #5 is just past the PAM supermarket on the left. One should have phoned the owner of the B and B Vittoria Gallo to let her know what time to expect you. Otherwise you need to call the cell phone number on the door. There are a number of B and B's in this building and there is an elevator ...
