This holy place is famous for Lord Vishnu temple Badrinath. Famous for it being situated near Alaknanda river and two ponds of water where in one you have naturally hot water good enough for cooking. Another has ice cold water. Great for all to come and worship as well as enjoy the beauty of nature... :)

The place is famous for the temple of lord shiva and it is a part of “Panch Kedar”(Five most famous idols of Lord Shiva in Uttrakhand state which ware found by Sankaracharya (a monk)) and 12 most famous idols of Lord Shiva of all over in India. Tracking route starts from Gaurikund. A similar “Taptkund” like Yamunotri is in Gaurikund....I would suggest everyone to visit Kedarnath at least once in a lifetime which will vanish all the negativity in a person...........

Badrinath is a nice spiritual place to visit. It is situated in far Himalayas, it is about 3100 mtrs from the sea level. It is about 600 km from New Delhi. The season to visit Badrinath is from mid May to Dipawali. After Dipawali govt close the Temple. There are lots of other attraction near by Badrinath like Hemkund Sahib, Vally of flowers and Nanda Devi Peak. It was a great experience to visit there. Mana village is 25 kms from the Badrinath , which is the last village of India. The nearest airport is Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun, which is around 350 Kms from the Badrinath. Do not bring your car , if you do not have the experience of driving in the hills.

i visited this place and stayed there for almost a month. it is a place situated in a valley surrounded by high beautiful mountains. the main temple of lord BADRI is also beautifully constructed. one waterfall is also there that is also beautiful. i will always remember my visit.

Badarinath Temple is historic but is well maintained. I specially liked the management and colors representing of the mandir. The different darshans are for mandir is beautiful. But I insist visiting this temple in the morning.
