how to reach bara bazaar

Parking can be tough to find owing to the crowd. The nearest metro station is Mahatma Gandhi (MG) Road station which is about 1km from the market. You will easily find a rickshaw at the station if you don’t want to walk.

This is the place to visit for seeing the hustle and bustle of the mercantile heart of Calcutta. Experience the noise, the commotion, the people and the trams, taxis, autos and buses at the cross sections !

This is the market for the cheapest bargains in probably all of India for all kinds of stuff specially clothes, toys, household wares. There are several lanes with wholesale businesses too. Bargain !
