Excellent Service - Super Clean Rooms

by JvanderGraf on 11 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

I stayed here for several weeks while looking for an apartment in the area. The front desk staff were more than accommodating. Very friendly and attentive. The breakfast is your typical grab and go American style consisting of boiled eggs, juice, choice of beads, pastries, cereals, fruit. Oh and the coffee is terrific! If you show your room key you get ten percent of your bill at the British Beer Company, a restaurant that adjoins the hotel. I highly recommend staying here if you're in the F...

Better than we expected

by WIJRD on 01 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

Honestly, we were very apprehensive about a hotel in the greater Boston area renting at a value price. Frankly, we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in went smoothly, as did the checkout. The Magnuson Hotel Framingham is very convenient, and easy to get to. We were in the far back of the multi-story building, easy access to the large parking lot in the rear. I did notice that the elevator(s) that we used were beyond its inspection date, by about 6 months, as I recall. The elevator was a bit s...

Worst hotel ever

by Prashansa T on 16 Nov 2016 (Solo Traveller)

I'd give this place 0 or negative stars if I could. Manager was utterly disrespectful and racist. I was traveling as an international student from another town. I didn't have my passport because I'm traveling internationally in a few days and don't want to lose it. The extremely rude and disrespectful manager refused to check me in because "what if I wasn't the person who'd booked the room." I showed her my college ID (from an Ivy League) and my credit card that had my name on it, and she starte...

POOR customer service- HIGH price for LOW value

by jenks0718Magnolia on 17 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

I booked this room for one evening because my children and I were headed to Salem, Mass. We decided to book here for one night due to its proximity to The American Girl store that I wanted to take my daughter to. We paid a pretty high price, but considering the area and the comps I found I took my chances. We arrived late in the evening and the man checking us in was wearing a camouflage coat and the lobby smelled musty. I could tell it wasn't the best of the best accomodations from the st...

I left

by pjohnsongg on 17 Oct 2016 (Business Traveller)

We are always looking to save money when traveling but this hotel not worth the savings. Badly needs to be updated. The carpets are worn and the beds are hard and old feeling. I did not feel safe there because most of the outside doors seemed to be broken. We left the hotel without staying. I would encourage you to pay extra for another hotel in the vicinity. I'm not a hotel snob. But please avoid this hotel.
