Don't even bother staying here

by Shannon K on 21 May 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Told us we may not be able to check in because we arrived late, it was only 4 pm when we got to the hotel. Then they told us since we were staying on the third floor that we had to walk to another building to check in. Once we checked in we had to walk back to our hotel, where we were finally able to go to our room. Room was well cleaned, but bed was very hard, blanket they had did not keep you warm at night and the air unit was right above the bed which blew cold air on us the whole night. Staf...

I suggest you do an inspection visit at Le Jardin de Caldas Novas. Here are some episodes in my stay, why not recommend this unit - Child got stuck in the elevator for nearly two hours without help; - Maid broke into my unit overnight, without any motivation - Extremely dirty pools when not so hot that did not allow us to use them. - Town with several cases of denque and no campaign among guests. Honestly, when we have highlighted in my travels the BestWestern, but this stay made me rethink my d...

Really nice hotel

by Viviane G on 07 Sep 2015

Staff was pretty helpful, the valet service was fast and helpful as well. Front desk speaks English which was convenient. Food was decent and tasty. I just don't recommend to buy tickets to hot park or anywhere else at their concierge office because I got ripped off all the time. Better buy at the parks entrance. Got upset because of this but knowing now I would stay there again still. Is a good hotel in a good location.

Overated and not hot pools

by PHLove on 12 Aug 2014 (Family Traveller)

Only 3 lifts for 300-ish rooms and they are not even in sync. So everybody calls the 3 of them, and you have to wait for 15-20 minutes each time you want to go up or down. Stairs are very non-official, dark, with broken lights and mainly for the workers. The complex is very small, don't expect much from it. Having been to Caldas Novas a few times before, I got very disappointed when I saw the pools. Food: you can chose lunch or dinner, nice salad buffet, but not amazing cooked food. Really old...

A family choice in Caldas Novas

by tvsoliveira on 02 Dec 2012 (Couple Traveller)

I spent a two-day getaway with my wife in this decent hotel. It is not a resort, neither a spa. Anyway, it is a nice place to spend the weekend, specially considering it`s a cozy and family place - way different from other hotels/clubs in town that have lots of young people drinking and messing all over. As mentioned by other TA members the tv inside the rooms are old and very few tv channel options are included. It would be a minor con, considering you won`t spend much time locked in your room....
