Bineshwar Mahadev Temple is one of the most important religious centres of the region. It is situated at a distance of 6 km from Ayarpani en route Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. The temple is believed to be constructed in the 13th century by one of the descendants of the Chand Raja Dynasty, King Kalyan Chand. It is a major crowd puller and flocked by devotees all year-round. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has a beautiful Shiv Lingam established inside the premises. According to the legend, the locals believe that the entire region was named Binsar after this temple.
