Great location and good views. Ok Hotel

by ptk123 on 25 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

I booked a harbour view suite for my stay in HK and was expecting a much larger room with a view of the harbour. Turns out that the minuscule bit of harbour I could see behind the city buildings counts is considered a harbour view room according to HK standards. After bringing this up with the front desk, i was assured I was in the right room on the right level. The city view was great and gave me a different perspective (rear view) of the CBD, but was not what I had expected. Apparently the tin...

Not too bad – quite a good location

by JCLDN on 24 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

This is quite a nice hotel, staff are friendly with a good standard of English. Hotel is quite high up in the levels, but they offer a daily shuttle down to Central and other places , so that is quite good. It is near the mid level escalators with various bars etc along the way. We stayed for 3 nights so did not make much use of any of the amenities, and we did not go to the restaurant. Room sizes are adequate, if a touch on the small size, and they did have wifi. Overall a pleasant stay and I w...

Great Hotel and Great Location

by cngjr on 23 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

Stayed for 4 nights with friends. This hotel is within close proximity to the central area and is surprisingly affordable (hope they stay this way) compared to other larger hotels owned by multinational brands/chains. It is located somewhat near the top of mid levels, so using the mid level escalators is a daily affair. The rooms were clean and had enough space for us. The service was friendly and they offered us extra amenities whenever we needed them. Check in and check out was smooth and they...

Great views from Mid Levels, can reach by foot with the help of Mid-Level Escalator.

by Guido G on 20 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

I stayed at the Bishop Lei International House during a brief Hong Kong stop-over for one night. The hotel is located high above Central, near the top end of the Mid Levels Escalator. As mentioned in other reviews already, views are stunning. Thanks to the escalator the hotel can be reached by foot from Central with low effort in some 10min. The escalator is one-way, going up the hill most of the time, except in the morning before 10am. If the escalator does not move into your direction, I su...

Great location, exceptionally hard bed.

by sharonpW4146XB on 17 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

I loved the location of this hotel and luckily we were well prepared knowing that the rooms would be exceptionally small. What we were not prepared for was the firmness of the bed (our carpeted floor at home is softer) If anyone stays here and can't handle the bed you can request a mattress topper .Unfortunately we went two nights with out knowing this. Breakfast was included and was lovely with very attentive staff. Our room was very clean but unfortunately looked into a building under construc...
