Jewel Found in Cape Town

by Jean G on 19 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We recently spent five glorious days in this delightful, boutique B&B in Sea Point. We stayed in Room 16 - a 2-bedroom suite with kitchen, an already stocked fridge and bar and a magnificent view of the ocean. The owners and managers of this B&B have thought of everything: a mini I-Pad for your use; a pre-programmed cell phone for calling taxis; an informative booklet introducing the staff and other amenities; and a VW Golf Convertible which guests can hire for a day to visit out-of-town sights....

Friendly and comfortable

by nickymcdonald on 17 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Blackheath Lodge deserves all the accolades it gets. We booked rather late so had to be moved around 3 times in the week we spent here but this enabled us to see 3 of the room types on offer and all were fine though my favourite was no 7 upstairs as it was a little larger. Great ambience, tranquility and meticulous service

by Gordon E on 15 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Blackheath Lodge This is our third stay in as many years and we remain faithful to BHL because you are treated as family and the relaxed ambience alongside engaging service is just to our liking. On our arrival the welcome from Josh was so genial and warm we instantly relaxed after our 1.5 hour drive from the sister hotel at Hermanus, 1 Marine Drive. Josh’s meticulous and discrete attention was ever present during our two-day stay and, as with all the staff, nothing is too much trouble. Our fav...

Charming and relaxing

by M&G_OnTheRoadAgain on 13 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

A small hotel with the charm of some of the best B&Bs. I guess I mean that it's service was personal and intimate. Pleasant location just up the hill from the coast...once you get used to the heavy duty South African security everywhere! Lovely room, cute pool, delicious breakfast and all round excellent staff.

Home away from Home.

The staff members at Blackheath lodge welcomed us with kindness, generosity, warmth and professionalism. They are a team that work together with immense positive energy and aim at making each guest's stay as comfortable, enjoyable and restful as can be. The lodge and rooms are beautifully and artistically decorated, beds super cushy and comfortable, and the breakfasts are home made and delicious. Everything about Blackheath Lodge was memorable and exceeded expectation. Five stars to you guys, yo...
