Great hotel but...Naked Wrestling!!!

by sallyanne316 on 28 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

Stayed at Blooms over the weekend of Jan 21st with my Friend, excellent rooms, comfy beds, staff were great, nice bar downstairs. We were however woken around 2am on our 2nd night by a rowdy group presumably returning to their rooms, chanting football songs and speaking very loudly of a naked wrestling match that had occurred in they're room that day!! On reporting this disturbance to reception the member of staff simply smiled and said 'boys will be boys'. Didn't affect our stay & would return.

Perfect for a getaway if your want to sample to bars!

Slap bang in the middle of temple bar. It's noisy especially when the night club was open but the price was perfect and we had so much Guinness once we hit the pillow we were asleep. 2 drinks vouchers are a bonus as well. Close to Tescos and subway and of course all the bars. Would 100% go back and stay here and have recommend to friends. The club is only on select nights , we were directly above the club but didn't find it an issue it closes at 3am anyway so doesn't go on all night. If we we...

Perfect location and clean and friendly place

by Sam J on 17 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

I stayed here with my friend for a weekend over NYE 2017.We stayed for 2 nights and the location for us was perfect, we got there by getting the bus from the airport, a return cost around 10 euros. Its situated in the middle of Temple bar and a short walk from Dublin castle and the River. The hotel has a busy and friendly bar with live music and serves food. The room was fairly modern, clean and has everything we needed apart from a mini fridge. There was a lot of noise at night but we couldn't...

Wouldn't stay here again.

by onthego09 on 17 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

We found the room to be a bit dingy and dirty. Not a good value for the money at all. It's in a loud area for sure, but the rooms were also very loud. It was nice having the restaurant and bar in the hotel. The breakfast was very good and it was a great value!

Nice but so noisy

by Vivich on 13 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

Honestly the hotel itself is quite nice, rooms are big, quite comfy, clean. Staff if nice as well. We even have free drinks at the pub of the hotel as a welcome. It is also very well-placed in Temple Bar district. Something very convenient was being able to borrow adaptors for 5euros each that they give you back when checking out. BUT oh man, this is so so so noisy. I think the hotel should even provide free earplugs as it is so noisy as we can hear all the music from the night club above the ...
