Clean, comfy, worth the money

by scottycuz on 25 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

Our twin bed room was nice and clean. In the room, there is an air-con which was very helpful as it was a hot August night, there is also a drinks fridge, where we put some cans of cola when we went out. The bathroom was small but clean, the shower had good pressure and was nice and hot, there could've been a bit more shampoo and gel provided though, but I got through it. Wouldn't stay again

by vicki_d2009 on 19 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

My husband and I stayed here for two nights. We mainly chose it for the location. Let me start with the good points. This hotel is located in a London neighbourhood that is not a place for tourists obviously. There is not much to do or see nearby. We stayed here to be close to a friends place. Staff at reception very friendly, rooms clean enough, but avoid the ones at the front. However the appearance of the hotel is strange since it looks and is a sheesha (waterpipe) cafe that is frequented by local people. We weren't sure we had arrived at a hotel.

Value stay in London

by LynnfromOz1 on 09 Sep 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Visit from Oz, we found London Star to be budget accommodation that was clean and comfortable. Checking in process was quick and efficient. There is a lift to help get luggage to first and second floors. Although the room was compact, it was sufficient as we were only really there at night. The rooms were serviced daily. It was airy but not air conditioned. Breakfast was provided. Though fairly basic, there was plenty to give us substantial meal to start the day. Staff were helpful and understan...
