Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani

Who would have thought that complete strangers can actually become friends for life. Well, the movie Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani inspires one to travel even with strangers and bond (talking about Ranbir and Deepika here). Gulmarg’s snow-clad mountains, which by the way have been referred to as “Manali” in the first half of the movie, are simply breathtaking. And, how can we forget Udaipur’s City Palace and Chittorgarh Fort, where Ranbir and Deepika Padukone finally confess their love for each other. Awww!

Jab We Met

Travelling can actually change your life, and you of course! The story convincingly shows how a train journey changes the life of Geet (Kareena Kapoor) and Aditya (Shahid Kapoor) who meet accidently. Also, this movie inspires many to explore some of the picturesque locations of Shimla and Punjab. And, how can we forget “Hotel Decent” (wink)! It for sure deserves a special mention.

3 Idiots

Would you marry a person whose name is Rancho aka Phunsukh Wangdu and runs a school in Ladakh? I definitely would if Rancho was none other than our very own Aamir Khan. This movie cleary talks about how knowledge can take you places (beautiful Ladakh in this case).
