Q. What is the age limit for a half ticket passenger in Haryana Roadways?

A: Half tickets are offered for children between the ages of 5 to 12 travelling on the ordinary, non-AC buses run by Haryana Roadways. A 50% concession is also available for intrastate travel on the same buses for senior citizens—for men aged 65 and above, and for women aged 60 and above. The senior citizens must have local IDs from Haryana to avail these half tickets. The third half ticket provision, as per a 2007 notification listed on the Directorate of State Transport website, is for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets travelling to camps.
