A: Yes, children between the ages of 3 and 12 can travel on TNSTC buses on a half ticket, meaning they will be charged 50% of the adult fare. However, children above 130cms in height will be charged the full fare. To bypass this, an original age proof certificate must be produced at the time of journey.

Q. Do you have to keep a printout of your e-ticket while boarding TNSTC buses?

A: Passengers can choose to either provide a printed copy of their ticket, or show an electronic copy on their mobile device, during the time of boarding. If you are showing an electronic copy, you must also present the original identity card used during the time of ticket booking.

Q. Can bus ticket details be updated after booking with TNSTC?

A: TNSTC provides no assurance that a passenger can change the details of their bus ticket after the booking process has been completed.

Q. I lost my bus ticket, can I recover it?

A: A copy of your TNSTC bus ticket was emailed to you when you booked the ticket. You can take a printout of this mail and present it during boarding. If you have not received your ticket in an email, TNSTC offers the option to receive an SMS about your ticket booking on your mobile. This SMS will contain a PNR number. Simply enter this onto the TNSTC website, and get a new copy of your ticket!

A: To travel on a TNSTC bus, you will need one of the following photo identity cards:
