An hostel experience at London
by Shashi12345 on 28 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)
It was my first visit ever to UK or in any hostel in that matter and I am glad I chose clink78. I lived good 6 yrs in boarding school and this place brought back the memories To start off. The location is Fantastic.. it's close to the station and in middle of a happening street. King's cross offer variety of food and at a low price The infrastructure is amazing. Great security. Like no unknown can come after 8pm Amazing heating. I went last week at -3 degrees outside and we were sleeping in a...
Conveniently located and great value for money
by mendiej on 28 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)
The hostel is conveniently located and great if you're on a budget. It has no curfew, a free (basic) breakfast is included in the price, the rooms are quite clean and there is WiFi throughout the building. Staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in/out were easy and swift, and you can come and go as you please. There are plenty pubs/restaurants nearby close to King's Cross and up in Islington near Angel, though if you don't know the area that well you might be better off hopping on a bus/tube to ...
One of the best Hostel
by maxime s on 23 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)
What's amazing in this hostel is almost everything. Staff is very friendly and understandable. Brand new showers. Rooms are small but it's a hostel not a hotel so you get for what you pay. BUT inside this hostel you also have a nice kitchen, plenty spaces to sit, baby foot, billard table, and a bar which sell pint for less than a fiver. Don't forget to pass by the tv room which was an old tribunal and take a nap. They got few rules to follow but for sure its the best place to stay if...
Functional, but intriguing
by Jonny_DNJ on 19 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)
The Clink, is built and themed around an old prison, so as you may guess, the characteristics of such a place are reflected in the rooms, and surrounding amenities. The rooms are small, and it genuinely does feel as if you are in a prison cell, as the beds are designed in typical hostel bunk fashion, although with nothing but a bed frame in between yours, and the fellow occupants bed, to the opposite side of you. Depending on the luck of who you're sharing with, this may affect your experience...
Nice facilities, perfect location
by theodore s on 19 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)
Decent and cheap hostel in very convenient location. Nice and friendly staff, breakfast included in the price and a very good pub to meet new people. It was kind of noisy though and the bathrooms weren't so clean. Value for money.
