about corbyn's cove

One of the most visited beaches in Port Blair, Corbyn’s Cove is an essential on any traveller’s itinerary for its sheer beauty. One of the closest beaches from Port Blair, it has been wooing nature lovers since a long time. The coastal roads in this area make for delightful scenic journeys. You will come across numerous Japanese bunkers--vestiges of the WWII, along the way.

Miles of endless beach stretching ahead scattered with clusters of palm and coconut groves; fishing boats lying abandoned on the shore, which have been invaded by tiny crab colonies-- Corbyn's Cove presents a very idyllic picture. The sunsets here are some of the most spectacular ones that you'll ever see. The waters here are quite turbulent, so swimming is not recommended. Moreover, the cove has limited eating options, so a packed lunch won't go amiss. But, on the whole, this is should definitely go in your Andaman itinerary.
