Lovely style, quiet and convenient.

by MissPitts on 09 Aug 2015 (Couple Traveller)

Nice decor, quiet street, and helpful staff were delightful. Special thanks to George who patiently helped me sort out connecting my smartphone to wifi for the very first time. The room was too small for the furniture. Only one chair for two guests made the rudimentary breakfast uncomfortable to consume in the room, and taking it in the tiny lobby would not have been much better. If we come again, we'll request a larger room, and perhaps the upgraded breakfast too.

Homely and comfortable hotel

by di05 on 21 Jan 2014 (Couple Traveller)

South Kensington is a well positioned area to stay and the Cranely Hotel is in the centre just of Old Brompton Rd. On arrival refreshments were offered. Tea, juice. Fire was alight and very welcome on a cold day. Rooms are beautifully fitted out with very comfortable beds. Breakfast delivered to room is a great luxury. The one negative is that to have a cup of tea or coffee will cost 3 pounds as there is no facilitiy in your room for tea making. Very annoying after a day out sight seeing.

Nice location, overpriced

by Muzzyy23 on 05 May 2012 (Friends Traveller)

The price may not be worth the quality of rooms, but I think that's the same anywhere in London. The hotel is located in a nice and clean part of the city. We enjoyed walking around, and admiring the beautiful English houses and looking for a good restaurant (for example the Italian "Olive" restaurant of the Millenium Bailey's hotel at Gloucester road is delicious!). Our room was old, bathroom is very small. It was ok for a few nights, but there should definitely be some renovation work done. So...

Affordable hotel in an exclusive part of London

by wonder-luster on 25 Dec 2011 (Family Traveller)

We checked in in to this hotel midway through our London stay because the hot water in our apartment was not working. The hotel was within walking distance from Gloucester Rd Station in a very quiet and safe neighborhood with many amenities nearby ( Waitrose, pubs, restaurants etc ) We paid 125 GBP for a triple sharing room and ( 135 GBP triple for walk in ). The hotel has 24 hr counter service, equipped with a lift and provides a luggage hold area for customers with late flights out of Lond...

Nice stay

by Gizelle_Paiva on 22 Dec 2011 (Business Traveller)

I stayed there for 13 days in February, 2011. I had a nice time there. The hotel is well located, in a quiet street, close to Gloucester Road Tube Station, Waitrose and some restaurants. The breakfast (included in the price) was ok, not the best of my life, but not the worst one. Coffe, tea, toasts and jam. Unfortunately the wi-fi only works at the reception, not in the rooms, which isn't very nice.
