Just OK

by mayakr on 14 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

I traveled with my co-workers trough my work place to this hotel for 2 night stay on a weekend. The hotel is a bit complicated and it took us a long time to find our room. When we entered the room the smell was so terrible I couldn't stay even a minute! We asked to replace the room, but the reception girl wasn't very friendly to me! The bellboy however was very nice and showed us the new room and took good care of us. We drank tea and milkshake at the lobby and found plastic in the milkshake- t...

Great bargain

by Jeffersn on 06 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

My maiden trip to Israel took me to Dan Hotel, Jerusalem. A typical middle Eastern hotel with very spacious rooms, well furnished bathrooms and amazing welcoming notes that shares with you a lot of historical stuff about the city of Jerusalem and land of Israel. The hotel is in a quiet location in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend it for business trips.

Nice hotel

by Harold B on 31 Dec 2016 (Friends Traveller)

The hotel was recently updated. The rooms were spacious; bathrooms updated and shined. The room were clean. We were part of a holy land tour, so check in and out was quick. There were plenty of amenities, but gym did not open until 6:15 AM and as hard to get a run in on the treadmill, so had to run outside. The buffets breakfast and dinners were very nice. The selections were overwhelming. It was difficult to choose. They did not offer hot beverages with dinner meals. This is a high priced hotel...

So So- not more.

We stayed at the Dan Jerusalem for 2 nights (weekend). Pros: The hotel has a direct view to Mt. Temple and is very close to the Mt. Scopus campus Hebrew University and Hadassah hospital. It is not in the center of Jerusalem but the light-train station is Approx. 8-minute walk and can take you to the center in 15 minutes (6 stops). The hotel was very clean. We stayed at room 420 - bed was comfortable and room was spotless. Cons: Events We had a wedding rolling while staying there – I was ...
