Spacious Accommodation in a Tranquil setting
by TvdMerwe on 14 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)
We stayed here over the Christmas period and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hostess, Renate Baert is a very friendly and accommodating hostess. Continental breakfasts were served inside the main house and were always good and fresh. The hostess was also willing to fry or boil eggs on request. We booked a triple room and stayed in one of the larger rooms on the ground level which is very large. The unit included a small kitchenette with coffee making facilities and a microwave. It also come...

we traveled with an 88 year old disabled friend and had specially asked for an easy-accessible room. In spite of the promise of the hostess (she would keep a room on the ground-floor) we were confronted with the fact she had rented this room to a more profitable occupation of 4 people instead of one (handicapped) person. What a beautiful place!

We stopped here for 2 nights in August...after cycling from London to Paris then playing a volleyball weekend in Belgium.....this was a fabulous place to stop and relax! The entire place was beautifully kept, room was large and comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and Renate the perfect host. We toured a lot of the battlefield sites and saw the Last Post at the Menin Gate: all easily accessible from this top quality B&B. Highly recommended, and we hope to return in the future
Gerry and Fran Excellent place to stay

This is at least our seventh stay - which says it all. This time we were with son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean. It is also child friendly. The breakfasts are excellent (especially the chocolates - according to the children )Nothing is too much trouble for Renate - a wonderful hostess. It is also only about a half hour's drive to the coast at De Panne and with easy access to Ypres and WW1 sites. Also it is very close to Dixmuide with it...

Had our family had a really good time here. Nice rooms, good breakfast and friendly service. The b and b was within easy driving distance to the sandy beaches and world war one sites. The local villages had good eating places and you can walk to a local bar.
