Great value for Dublin.

by DangerousPaddy on 27 Aug 2016 (Couple Traveller)

This is great value for staying in Dublin. There's a cheap city bus available into the city which is useful. The accommodation took us back to our uni days. So we knew what we were in for and that was perfect. A nice touch with tea and coffee in the kitchen. Comfy room. En suite. And the student union was open for a beer and meal. Very good stay.

Brilliant!

Cheap, clean fantastic.... What more do you want. Obviously with the price being low this isn't situated in the centre of Dublin but there is a bus stop just at the end of the road where a single ride is €2.20. A taxi will cost you €12. We even had our beds made and clean towels everyday. Really impressed

Got the basics right - Good value

University rooms, just the basics: No tv, no frippery just a bed and wet room shower, sink toilet, sheets & towels. Rooms are on corridors each with a shared kitchen / lounge (kettle, oven, toaster) - you get tea & coffee and mugs but that's about it. You want plates etc? Bring your own. Dont let that any of that put you off, its set in lovely grounds close to Dublin Centre and has a bar, pool, restaurant, and sports Centre. There is a park with a play area too. Ideal for those of us on a budg...

Great Value, no frills

by Chris B on 28 Jun 2016 (Business Traveller)

Nice rooms good facilities, with a shared lounge and free wifi, OK the rooms are a bit basic, but the only difference from a budget hotel is that there is no TV and you have to walk to a seperate hall for Breakfast. The site is out of town but well served by buses into the city. The only downside is that the airport buses don't come this way

Great value as compared to other expensive options

I was originally looking for a hotel in the city centre but prices were very expensive! We paid €170 for a twin room for 2 nights and it was perfect . There was no excessive noise which you would expect on a student campus and we were given fresh towels and sheets on each morning. My only complaint was seeing the "insect detector " on entering the room was a bit off putting! But apart from that great value, easy enough to and from city centre and local amenities which are also good .
