Charming hotel

by jill0284 on 07 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

My husband and I stayed here with another couple for three nights. Both of our rooms were clean and comfortable. The decor is old fashioned but we liked it & thought it added to the character of the hotel. Location is excellent right in the historic centre. Breakfast was lovely, orange juice, tea/coffee, pastries, waffles, fruit, cereals, cheeses, meats and boiled eggs. Staff were excellent. Would definitely stay here again. As others have said there isn't a lift at the hotel so might not be sui...

Romantic and lively

by ValeVexxx on 07 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Despite all they say about it is an old hotel (yes, it is old but it doesn't matter at all ) it was one of my best experiences for the last trips. Location! The view from the room through those huge windows (3). Beds are amazing. and the restaurant is also a great choice in Bruges. Employees are extremely servicial.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel that as soon as we walked in it encompassed us,it welcomed us. The people were amazing the comfort of this hotel surpassed any expectations we had! We ate in the hotel both nights and we were blown away by the food and the surroundings looking out onto the canal! I cannot thank the wonderful people of the Duc de Bourgogne hotel. We have booked to return in April! We cannot wait! Looking forward to it already! ❤️️❤️️❤️️👏👍

We visited on a Saturday lunchtime and we were glad we booked a table with a view of the canal. This place is very popular it seems with both locals and tourists. The restaurant is in a great location and is full of character. The food was very good and we opted for the set menu which was about 33euros for 3 courses. Add a bottle of the perfectly acceptable house red, water and coffee, and you are looking at 100 euros for 2. For the quality of the food this was good value and when you add in the...

Prime spot in Bruges

by NRH2013 on 13 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Beautiful location, great views from the veranda restaurant, very attentive service, good food. Upon arrival we were accompanied to the most beautiful table available at the time, directly on the water. The interior of the restaurant is a little dated, carpets, restrooms, a makeover would not harm.
