about dudhsagar falls

In English terminology known as Sea of Milk, Dudhsagar Falls is a four-tiered waterfall on Mandovi River, bordering states of Karnataka and Goa . It is amongst tallest waterfalls of India with a height of 310 m and an average width of 30 metres. The beauty of these falls lies in monsoon season, when it is fed by rains and water comes down with huge force. The railway line from Vasco to Londa cross the mountain side near the top of falls, and thus provides an excellent view from the train.

Thousands of visitors come to experience the magnificent view of these falls. The area is rich in biodiversity which is surrounded by deciduous forests. There are couple of pools in Dudhsagar, to swim and spend day full of fun.
