Superb traditional hotel. We had room 5 which was on the 1st floor, large and spacious overlooking the main street. The location is excellent. Within minutes walk from the most beautiful part of Ghent and yet very easily accessible by car/taxi/tram. Many restaurants at a stone's throw. Good shower. Refrigerator in the room. Very quiet. WIFI (free) works very...

Great Location with plenty of character

by AndyLake on 11 Dec 2016 (Friends Traveller)

We had a huge room over looking the garden and the hotel is 5 minutes from the beautiful center of Ghent. Breakfast very nice and staff very friendly and helpful. I think some of the smaller rooms, top floor, where not quite upto scratch.

There is a fireplace mantle that would have been perfect had I been able to run a fire, but it was alas, simply decorative, likely out of fire hazard in a hotel. The bathroom has a bathtub- the first I have run into in Europe aside from from 5 star hotels. but it is also the shower.... very unusual but quaint. the manager was nice, breakfast will be included but I have...
