In Pangot, one usually eats at one’s own guest house. You can also visit a
small stall in the village called Country Kitchen, which does made-to-order Continental, Chinese, Kumaoni and North Indian food, all thoroughly Indianised, which is a yummy food option in Pangot.

Pangot
also has a number of tea stalls where you can sit and watch the village trucks ferrying teachers from the local school along with goods and supplies from Nainital. Three of these are in extreme proximity to one another, with one housed at the post office, another one across it, and the last with a beautiful earthen chulha. Tea and basic snacks are available at all the stalls, and the one at the post office also cooks Maggi noodles.
