For 90 bucks a night I was a bit disappointed in the condition of our room. Although it was clean, housekeeping needs to pay attention to the small details. Crooked pictures on walls, no trash can liners. MAINTENANCE: ripped window screen, some furniture in need of a trip to the garbage dumpster. SUGGESTION: install some kind of shelving in the bathroom for personal items, and put a rug on the tile bathroom floor, it was 17 degrees outside, and the floor felt like 18 on my feet. This may sound P...

Perfect if you ask me!

by meganmacs on 30 Dec 2016 (Business Traveller)

It's been a few months since I've been there but still the same great place, now with a remodeled lobby desk reception area too. I always enjoy the service, they even welcome me back remembering my preference of being on the top floor in a room that has a view of the Mountain (on a clear day that is). Been there at least a dozen times so far and it's always super clean and classy. Every once in awhile the rate is really high but I still think it's worth it.

It's Too Bad!

My husband and I recently stayed at Four Points and enjoyed our stay. It wasn't easy checking in, however. We were the only ones in the lobby, and I do mean, the only ones. Once someone finally came along to check us in, he took our credit card and we lost him for a long time. I've never been anywhere where the check-in process with credit card was done in another room. We enjoyed our room and would stay here again but........we were charged TWICE for our room! I have a dispute in proces...

Not worth $300 a night!

by Eluminaz on 16 Oct 2016 (Business Traveller)

We went on a business trip and it seems that all hotels in Portland were booked. We had booked another hotel but when we got there the hotel was way below our expectations and so our ordeal started. My manager stopped at the Embassy hotel but didn't have any vacancies and the clerk took the time to help us find a hotel. My manager called the four points by Sheraton but the receptionist told her that she had a customer in front of her and rudely hung up the phone. The clerk at the embassy stepped...

Practical Lodging, Relatively Cheap, Slightly Cheesy

by SeattleYo_Mama on 03 Oct 2016 (Solo Traveller)

This hotel is located in an out of the way place for most visitors, and because of that--and a few other details I'll get to--it's less exorbitant than most middling hotels in Portland. While I wouldn't recommend it for a honeymoon or big-deal vacation, I went to visit relatives, who had all consolidated themselves under one roof and no longer had a guest room. Although this lodging is a good 30 minutes-1 hour from downtown, depending on traffic, it was a mere 20 blocks from the family manse, an...
