The Boston Free Tours are self guided tours which starts from the Boston Common. The tour ends at the U.S.S. Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument in Charlestown. From there you can walk or take the Charlestown Water Shuttle to get back downtown Boston, as per your choice. The nearest station is Park Street Station on green or red line. The State Street Station on the Blue and Orange lines is actually on the Freedom Trail! It is 5 minutes from the start of the trail.
