about galleria borbonica

The  Galleria Borbonica is an  ancient underground passage which was used for military purposes. It used to connect the Royal Palace to military barracks in Naples. Inside the gallery, you will find several vehicles and motorcycles of the 40s, 50s and 60s and many statues and remnants of World War II. There are two entrances to the gallery.  There are different tours that can be taken in the gallery. These includes- Standard Tour, Adventure Tour and Speleo Tour.
The standard tour  allows to take a walk inside the Tunnel, in the areas of the bomb shelters and the water tanks. The Adventure Tour takes you through the fine water tanks of the '500 and '600 and a raft ride in a subway tunnel abandoned and invaded by water. The final "Speleo Tour" lets you wander around, with suits, helmets and lights, in the tunnels.  it also lets you go on a cable car in a huge water tank of the sixteenth century.
