about the ghetto

Living up to its name, Ghetto has a very laid back ambience with a very informal dress code, which means that you can saunter in wearing your shorts and flip-flops. Just grab a beer, play a few rounds of pool or simply kick back and relax. As far as decorations are concerned, it is limited to neon lights, wall graffiti and Morrison paintings, which doesn't sound like much, but it does make quite an interesting picture. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of cocktails and the drinks are quite reasonably priced. There is a separate smoking section available.

The clientele ranges from college students and professionals to old hats and that adds to the quirkiness of the atmosphere. The music played is usually of the classic rock variety, and they must have a pretty good collection, because you never go "Hey, they've played that one before!" If you feel like snacking, their starter menu apart from regular Indian starters includes, Tangy sausages, Shepherd's pie, stuffed mushrooms, fried chicken strips, skinned potatoes, hunter's chicken, all of which are so good, you will eventually end up having your dinner.
