The worst hotel (cannot be called hotel) I have stayed in my life. No toilet, no table, no wardrobe, no hangers, no light on the staircase, bulbs in the lights not working, only 1 chair to keep family clothes on, no proper wall between the room and the shower. It was dirty and smelled sour cabbage, one of the pictures was hanging upside down. It made me really depressed in the morning despite my attempts to count my blessings and think about the poor... We only stayed one night and ran away forg...

In Bruge..... Or hell?

by nsc2001 on 03 Apr 2016 (Friends Traveller)

A slight exaggeration maybe but this hotel was not for me. On arrival, payment was required before we had a chance to see the room. To get to the room, we had to lug our suitcases up two flights of dimly lit stairs with no offer of help. There is no lift. We were under the impression that the room was "en suite". There was a section of the room partitioned off with a shower and wash basin but no loo. It was then we discovered we had to share a toilet outside of our room with multiple peo...

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at! Rude staff and foul toilets shared by entire floors.

by MSV74 on 30 Mar 2016 (Friends Traveller)

Where to begin...don't let the nice-looking restaurant on the ground floor fool you, the hotel rooms on the upper floors are third world. The staff are rude once they've got your money, the toilet is smelly and dirty and shared by 10 rooms, the floors are so sloping that the blood rushes to your head as you sleep, and the windows are so thin that we were kept up by the revelers on the square. Not to mention that you need to know your fellow travelers well as the shower is in the middle of the ro...

Good location, simple hotel.

by Loes B on 29 Oct 2015 (Couple Traveller)

Very easy to find if you come by car. You can park your car in 't Zand (8 euros) parking garage or by the station, that's a 7 min walk from the hotel -trough a nice park- and it's only 3,50 for 24 hours. The hotel has a good location, it's at the beginning of the shoppingsstreet and within 10 minutes your at the Marktplein and the Belfort. Super! We stayed for one night on the 3rd floor, room number 12. The room was oke, you don't need more for just the one night. This hotel has SHARED bathroom...

the best part of this hotel is restaurant!

by Predrag_M on 11 Oct 2015 (Solo Traveller)

This is a nice hotel at large town square, just above the restaurant. There is no reception desk so you need to go into the restaurant and ask waiter to complete check in and give you a key. Also, there is no space for sitting or spending time for a hotel visitors, just restaurant's tables. WIfi signal is very bad in the upper rooms, so I needed to surf either during breakfast or in front of the hotel. Room is good, just a bed with a small lamp. no TV. Shared toilet is on the same flour, cleaned...
