NO EARLY CHECK IN. Don't accept room 613

by gotxu11 on 20 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

The staff didn't speak good english. We arrived at 6.30 and thank you of a local man that insist to the girl of the reception to make us the check in, they gave us a room at 10.30. They didn't offer us water or anything during those 4 hours. Once we got the room, we figured out that the girl gave us the worst room in the hotel. Next to the staff room in the corridor of the towels stock. No windows, no small fridge, no chairs. Just a bed, a TV with the ensuite bathroom. Even they didn't do the ...

My First Visit to Grand Prix

by Mohamad d on 03 Dec 2016 (Business Traveller)

I'll start with the good things I found: -Airconditioned. -Good reception. -Restaurant and free breakfast in the 7th floor. There's also an outdoor area of the restaurant. -It's in Mabini St., also it's near restaurants, and ROBINSONS MALL! Bad stuff I found: -The receptionist asked me whether we're going to extend or not. I found it rude, as we were already preparing to leave. It was like 1 hour or 2 before 12 PM! As if they're saying "Are you going to leave or stay?", hence (Pushy). -The emp...

Always very friendly and clean. Staff remember you and if you require a paticular room they try to help. The breakfast is sufisiant. Well located for the local bars and entertainment and a large shopping mall

Overnight Experience

by allanpg16 on 29 Sep 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Easy to get a booking on the same day in just a few minutes. A little disappointed because the room given was small and in the corner end. I requested for a room with a window but the view were dirty exit ladders and roofs. Breakfast only has little serving w/c was given by a waitress, rice, 1 pc shortganisa, egg, tiny spanish sardine and champorado. You even have to request for a drinking water. Good sides were the ff; guard and receptionist were pleasant, clean room and bathroom and bed s...

Walking Distance to US Embassy

by XyZaSpeaks on 24 Sep 2016 (Business Traveller)

Went to Manila for my interview. I booked at Gran Prix Hotel and Suites Manila. Their signage is a bit small and not too visible along the streets of Mabini. If you are riding a cab or grab/uber car just take note of the City State Savings Bank Sign, look to your left and Gran Prix is just beside it. Walking distance to Robinsons Manila and a lot of food establishments near the hotel. The room is quiet small for its price, decent and clean. It comes with free breakfast served at around 7am to ...
