Hanoi SPA. think many times before patronising

by ayigarcia3 on 13 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

200,000 dong for a 45 minute massage as advertised outside the hotel. we asked how much for 1 hour. showed us a brochure with price of services. says 400,000 dong for one hour massage but we will be given discount. 219,000 for one hr massage using cinnamon oil. I asked the girl several times is it two nineteen or two ninety. and shes like NO! NO! its 219!! with cinnamon oil. Vietnamese massage blah blah so ok. 219,000 for an hour of massage seems reasonable enough. we were showed to this room wi...

Horrible massage

by Hugo E on 24 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

Tried to charge us more because we had bigger feet ? Then also got left with a horrible rash from the "Cream" they used on our legs . Then followed to ask if we were men or woman as they talked to Boss around us in Vietnamese as they began to mock and laugh . Asked for two beers very reasonably priced but got given two beers warmer then the room already inclosed in . Would not recommend if you are looking for a massage .Would rate less then one star if I could .

Clean rooms, fast wifi, accommodating front desk

by Nathaniel G on 14 Dec 2016 (Solo Traveller)

The front desk was asleep when I got there at 2am, so I had to wake them up. They gave me room keys to the fourth floor (I think it was five floors total). Sadly, there weren't any elevators. They gave me a room with two beds, which was great. The soap and shampoo in the shower seemed like huge bottles bought from the store. They supplied toothbrush and toothpaste and hand soap as well. The front desk helped me out in booking my Halong Bay tour. It's ok for the price.

Good location

by Nami50 on 29 Nov 2016 (Friends Traveller)

My room was comfortable and quiet considering the hotel is in the heart of the Old Quarter. Everything you need is around you - great street food, fresh juices, coffee, travel agents, laundry services plus all the hustle and bustle of weekend night markets and some good music from Vietnamese bands busking on ethe streets. The beds were comfy, the room wasn't small and although it's an older hotel with old furnishings it's kind of funky. There's a spa in the lobby and the staff were lovely. Wo...

Rude staff. Never come back

by Khoa N on 20 Oct 2016 (Friends Traveller)

Rude staff. Never come back. We informed them we would checked out at 5:30 AM because we had early flight, they said we could do anytime, but when we did, he was so rude and angry. They charged us 3% more because of using visa.
