Hombuja Lodge , Shimoga

My recent visit to Hombuja Residency was good enough. They provide basic facilities like Bed/Bathroom/TV/AC/Hot Water (Only 7AM - 8AM). We can't expect too much in Village. Anandapura is also not a tourist spot. What I didn't like? Lots of water near corridor, Hot Water only during 7AM - 8AM, Room is not spacious, Intercom not working, WiFi doesn't work in room. You need to come to office to work with WiFi.

i stayed in their A/C room for a night with my family. AC was not working properly, tap in the room was leaking. The corridor outside the room and stairs was not maintained properly. I asked for room service in the morning and they were just rude and asked me to come down and get it. All in all a decent stay. Clean toilets and they provide clean towels and soap. As the hotel is right next to the pond you will find lot of insects and mosquitos in the room only if you open the window. If not there is no trouble from them(insects). Had been there on Christmas during our road trip to Jog falls from Bangalore. Got this place booked as we had no other option available due to peak season. Place was a pretty decent one. We had booked 2 cottages. Only complain we had was there was no room service available.
