Basic,perfect location,quite rooms & good price

by Erika D on 27 May 2015 (Friends Traveller)

We booked a double room for 2nights.Hostel reception is open 24 hours.Very nice&polite receptionist (older gentlemen). We got room 26-window facing the inner patio(typical in Sevilla).the size of the room was OK.Quite.only when people speaking louder in the patio one coul hear it.AirCon worked well in the room. The shower was very basic, could have been cleaner, but,in general, aceptable. The hostel is located close tu bus stop 32 that takes you directly to Santa Justa train station. The river & bridge...

xmas break 2014

by LanaScott on 07 Jan 2015 (Friends Traveller)

Stayed with a friend at this lovely hosatal over the xmas period in Seville.,Very clean and tidy the owner most helpful and a fabulous location in the centre of seville, its situated on one of the busiest thoroughfares in the city but very quiet and peaceful overnight, although no breakfast was available there are numerous outlets for it within 100 mts, For those who havent used hostals in spain before ,the name belies the hostal in english terms and offers 3 star english accomodation, highly r...

Do not recommend

by fastturtle on 07 Oct 2011 (Couple Traveller)

Location is ok but the room and bathroom were terrible. The bathroom had mildew all over and the shower handle was falling off the wall. No soap (or shampoo) was provided. There is no lift (elevator) and the man who was mostly on duty at reception was not helpful at all. Would not stay here again.

bathrooms need update

by undefined on 09 Oct 2005

The only good thing about the hostal is the central location. It's better to bring your own pillow because you will need a chiropractor's help after sleping on it. The washrooms definitely need an update, the sink leaks constantly and the bathtab is filthy. If I re-visit Sevilla, I won't even consider staying there again. During our trip we stayed in 5 other hostals, but this one was only our misfortune.

Zahira Good Experience

by undefined on 06 Dec 2004

Three of us spent eight nights at the Hostel Zahira in downtown Seville, Spain on Calle San Eloy, and while it wasn't a 5-star hotel, it was very good. The room was clean, our beds were made each day and we got fresh towels. The room was small but with enough room for three of us. The hostal staff was friendly (although only in Spanish) and helpful.
