Great Tapas

by Caroline M on 16 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We ate here on a couple of occasions, after being taken by a friend who is from Seville. Tapas were really good, and included some more unusual options including a "volcano" of black pudding and egg and bacalao served with tiny sand eels. All really delicious and served by friendly waiters. A great place to sit and people watch. Only ate here, so can't comment on hotel or rooms.

Indifferent and surly

by celebrationEugene on 14 Nov 2016 (Family Traveller)

The restaurant is inviting and charming however the greeting was indifferent. We felt we were bothering our first waiter. He was a bit put out, perhaps "surly" is a better description, during the evening and seemed to need pampering and reassuring. The restaurant was empty when we got there but it did begin to fill up as we sat there. The food was mediocre, tapas were so-so; and we had eaten many tapas by then while in Barcelona and Madrid.

Nice hotel in the heart of the Old Town

by zaxmo on 11 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Nice hotel in Santa Cruz, the Old Town. It is situated a couple of hundred meters from la Giralda and the Cathedral. Many restaurants and bodegas are just around the corner. The rooms are clean and the suff is very friendly and helpful.

Resting on its Laurels

by anonymous335 on 09 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stopped here for lunch during our recent visit to Sevilla while wandering around the Santa Cruz area. I wished we had carried on wandering. The service was very poor; the waiter very surly and the tapas extremely disappointing.

Wow, amazing

by LoloVictoriaBCCanada on 20 Sep 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Visited with a tour group and had an 8 course tapas dinner. So good! Entertainer was a guitar playing singer that had recent success on a reality tv competition, fabulous. We had huge olives, bread, fresh salad of tomatoes and tuna, Spanish omelette (potatoes), breaded fish, paella, pork and potatoes, mousse. It was amazing, served really hot by the owner and a lot of food!
