5 days in town for Drupa 2016

by Ana O on 13 Jun 2016 (Business Traveller)

Positive aspects: We stayed in this hotel because of Drupa 2016, the location is really good if you're going to the Messe as it's walking distance to the tram that runs every 5 minutes and takes you directly there. You also have a wide variety of restaurants in the area and if you're staying on vacation it's walking distance from the river and it has a nice park there. Breakfast was good for a small hotel, nice variety of cheeses and cold meats. Negative aspects: Most of the staff only speaks G...

Just Okay

by Peter C on 14 Apr 2016 (Family Traveller)

Small (maybe 26 rooms) hotel with very small rooms and very few amenities. Front rooms face the busy, noisy street, and the European breakfast is fairly limited, and served in what amounts to a renovated hallway between the front desk and the rear of the hotel. The service ranges from indifferent to average. It is not especially convenient to the city center although the trams run right by. But, it is fairly close to the exhibit halls. And, when there are exhibits, the hotel is exceedingly price...

Hotel for our next visit to Düsseldorf.

by AlenaBogdanova on 01 Mar 2015

We came to Düsseldorf for two nights to attend concerts in Tonhalle. The hotel was chosen because of price, parking possibility and location. We were very good surprised. The hotel is very cosy, very comfortable, very calm, nicely designed. Stuff is extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel offers very good breakfast. Definitely we stay here again. There is only one little problem: there is no WiFi from third floor and higher. Therefore IPhones, IPads etc are useless. But there is a internet cable...

A friend booked me in this hotel at two occasions over the long weekend - once on my own and than again with my boyfriend. I can only say - DONT stay there if you are gay or foreign! - you wont be welcome!!! If you expect a decent hotel - look else... this place is not even a hostel. The rooms are expensive for what you get (if you actually get any of the things you d expect from a hotel at this price point) - NO Service attitude - Noisy rooms (asked to change but staff refused, even tho...

A cute, neat little hotel albeit expensive

by KamilMohammed on 30 Oct 2013 (Solo Traveller)

Was actually forced to stay in Dusseldorf because of the exorbitant hotel rates in Cologne at the time of ANUGA 2013. Quite easy to get to this hotel by tram from Dusseldorf station, but a bit difficult to spot the place. Stayed here for one night in a room on the 5th floor. The room was very cute and being on the top floor, there was plenty of natural light inside the room and bathroom, which was actually great. The biggest shock, matter of panic and disappointment was lack of WiFi, although th...
