Great Hotel

by Gail C on 22 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed for 6 nights and really enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were excellent (Hugo & the lovely lady in the evening) . There's a good choice of items on the buffet breakfast and wifi was available all through the hotel. Located in a quiet area, the hotel is within walking distance to metro, buses and the historic area.

One night in Lisbon.

Only spent one night at Hotel,02.00 till 09.00.On 06.09.2016. Staff on reception where welcoming, friendly, and vary helpful, when I checked and out. My room was clean, bathroom was clean. Quiet nights sleep. Would stay again.

Good Location, Excellent Value

. Background: As the starting point of a three-week train-and-hotel tour of Portugal, Spain and Morocco, I booked this hotel through a third-party website Booking.com. Great value

by Pamela P on 22 Jun 2016 (Couple Traveller)

This hotel was recommended to us by a Portugese friend who has stayed here on several occasions. We took a taxi from Entrecampos train station - cost 6 euros. Small reception with very good and helpful Manager who assisted us on several occasions with travel questions. Check- in is 1400 hrs but we arrived at noon and our room was ready - there are safety deposit books in the basement which are included in the cost of the room. Rooms are small but very clean - bathroom slightly tired but st...

Charming and Quaint

by GwenMcCauley on 24 Apr 2016 (Solo Traveller)

I liked the Alicante from the moment the front doors glided open. Not at all pretentious but friendly and well appointed. My room overlooked the main street but was surprisingly quiet for a long, holiday weekend. I arrived early but didn't have to wait. When I got to my floor via a very modern elevator I was greeted by the sound of the chambermaid singing as she went about her tasks. How delightful. The bathroom was new with very modern fixtures. The bedroom was nicely appointed, comfy but not f...
