Hotel Anwesha , murshidabad

Got carried away by its location as its very close to the Hazarduari Palace and had heard about the huge balconies and the great view it offers.But the condition of the place is pathetic.The walls have not been painted for ages,the bathroom was stinky with a dirty looking bucket and mug,the mirror badly stained.We didn't think twice before running out of that place though we knew we would lose our money in the process.

Hotel Anwesha is a good budget hotel...I stayed there several times, from when the hotel was single storied to now two storied, they have also some rooms in the basement... Front side rooms are very good with a view of open play ground and the back side rooms with Bhagirathi view. This hotel is situated beside of Imambara and close to Hazarduari. It is located within 500 meters of Hazarduari Palace. Restaurants are nearby. It has a big balcony and river can be seen from some rooms on first floor (It's 2 storied building). Battery operated vehicles take 10 Rupees per head to go to hotel from Railway station
