Fabulous view of underrated village

by peter v on 03 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Loved the view over the ancient town and fortress of Bouillon. Superbly designed bedroom. The only thing that somewhat marred our stay was the breakfast. The girl serving was obviously shy and only appeared to ask new breakfasters if they wanted tea or coffee. The tables were not cleared when people left and some had to wait for a table to be cleared to be able to sit down. There was no cooked breakfast which, at the rate we paid, I think is a must nowadays, even in a small hotel. It can be cooke...

Cosy is cosy. Don't forget the dinner!

by Esben A on 10 Oct 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We have been to Hotel Cosy a few times. Always with great pleasure! Hotel Cosy is a family owned hotel, which gives it the cosy charater. I'm always surprised to see so many people at the breakfast while we are very few enjoying the gourmet like dinner. Apperently other guest go and eat elsewhere in Bouillon, which is a big mistake! The dinner is definitly worth more than the price and one of the reasons for coming back to Hotel Cosy. Also the wine selection is quite good and the owner, Wouter...

Beautiful view on Bouillon

by immorissal on 15 Aug 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We were quite happy with the location, the breakfast and the fact that we got a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. Having said that: I don't think we've ever stayed in such a scary and poorly decorated hotelroom. Strangely enough the rest of the hotel seems to look normal, but our room had a painting of a horror-clown hanging on black walls, and an overly complicated LED-lighting system we struggled with to put in use. The owner was, however, superfriendly and helpful. I suppose he put us ...

Less than average hotel - nice breakfast

by Mapengobis on 01 Aug 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed at this hotel at the end of a 3 week tour along a number of small mid-upscale hotels in France and Switzerland. We had booked it has a "superior" room in a "boutique" hotel, as this is how it is marketed. At first sight upon arrival, it looked like the nice and cosy hotel you see on the pictures. The welcoming by an older man was super friendly. The room itself was large, it had a kitchen, and was furnished with an incoherent set of furniture. It looked a bit old/worn out. The bathroo...

Home from home

by Gulliver0002013 on 10 Jul 2016 (Couple Traveller)

This is a must stay hotel when you visit buillon. Being family run and owned it offers more than most hotels. We stayed in a superior room with spa bath. The restaurant is top class with a 5 course meal for dinner. Breakfast is as good as you will get anywhere in europe. Highly recommended.
