Nowhere I'd rather stay in Florence
by Michael R on 26 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)
My wife and I spent 3 terrific days at the Europa over her birthday weekend in June. If you're in a hurry to get to the next review, just know that we were delighted with everything about our stay, otherwise.... Hotel (general)- Small and easy to miss. It occupies the 2nd two floors of a business/residential building and the sign is small - not an unusual situation in Florence on either count. Interior is well done and inviting with lots of antique furniture. The second floor (suite floor) is...
Wonderful Family Owned, Friendly, Clean and Comfortable Hotel
by dlm610 on 19 Dec 2016 (Friends Traveller)
I can hardly list all the wonderful things about this Hotel. This was my very first time in Europe and I was traveling with my friend, who planned the whole trip himself. He certainly picked the right Hotel in Florence. We stayed five nights in Oct/Nov 2016 and I felt very sad to leave here. Mariam and Robert were so helpful and friendly, spoke English and they felt like family to me. Their Mother, who helped out there, was a welcome sight to see and was so adorable. I knew I'd miss them when w...
Very Friendly and Wonderfully Located Hotel
by JRF37 on 14 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)
Miriam and Robert hosted us for 6 nights in November 2016. They are very friendly, accommodating, and informative, including about where to eat in Florence. Their own breakfasts, as other guests have noted, are ample, including cereal, eggs, a variety of pastries, juices, coffee, tea – exactly what an intrepid couple would ask for before a full day tour of the Renaissance city. The bedroom itself was large, clean, and very quiet, as it overlooks a lovely courtyard away from the busy street. ...
Wonderful, quiet, affordable hotel
by Doug N on 10 Dec 2016 (Solo Traveller)
I stayed at Hotel Europa for 4 nights in autumn 2016. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and quiet it was for such an affordable price. I was worried when I booked that it might be noisy, given it is on a large street, but my room was totally silent. A short walk to the heart of the city. The owners were delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was substantial. I would stay here again on my next trip.
Lovely family hotel
by Kathryn R on 26 Nov 2016 (Family Traveller)
We loved our two day visit at this small and friendly hotel. It was our first stop on a three week trip to Tuscany. Although we were jet- lagged, it was one of our most treasured stays. Hotel Europa was unexpectedly quiet inside, although located in a busy part of central Florence. We had a charming view from our largish room of a small courtyard with the Duomo's top peeking out over beautiful red tiled rooftops. We will look forward to a return visit. This hotel is a great value and an au...
