Convenient location with spotty wifi

by Sweagle97 on 16 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed here overnight during a quick visit to Tokyo. The nearest transit station in just across the street, though the lines are mainly commuter focused, so tourist sites will likely require a transfer or two. The rooms were about average size, but with nice amenities. The best feature of the location is the shear number of great dinner options within about 3 blocks. Room offered a tea kettle and mini-fridge.

Pleasantly suitable

by stamphappy on 14 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

We stayed here for three nights over New Year. In the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, this hotel is a peacefully located on a quiet street, about 50m from Akasaka metro station. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe Double room, which was on the top floor. The room was large by Japanese standards (which is quite small by Western standards, but that's so across Japan). Staff were friendly and helpful. A lovely touch was the traditional offering of Saki in the lobby over New Year.

A Smaller, Personable Hotel in a Pleasant, More Relaxed, Tree Lined Tokyo Suburb

by Hitchiker_bear on 05 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

The hotel and adjacent Coffee Shop street entrance was instantly appealing with bright, colourful flower beds; in the foyer staff welcoming, alert and smiling. During our three day stay, heads went up from whatever they were doing to offer a smile and greeting, staff to whom we spoke were comfortable speaking English. Our small, double Non smoking room was comfortable for two persons with a small luggage. Those with large suitcases would perhaps feel more relaxed in a larger room. Double bed ...

Nice hotel located right next to subway entrance

by dexxie13 on 05 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

Pleasantly surprised how close to the subway this hotel is located. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Suntory Hall as I was here with the choir for performance. As a tourist, I would probably want to be nearer to all the action, i.e. staying around the usual Shinjuku, Shibuya area. But if you've been to Tokyo a few times and want to try something different, I do highly recommend this neighbourhood. It is close enough to the city and quaint. The rooms are expectedly small but we can...

An Appreciation for Tokyo Life

by Changjo88 on 03 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

For a country of 127 million population where only 4% of land is used for living, my children received an experience for what it feels like to live inside a crowded city. The rooms are small, but clean and organized. As such, we had to be efficient in arranging our luggages and items. A good learning on Lean Principles for My kids. Location of hotel with an entrance to Asakasa station was convenient to get around town. The hotel is quiet basic but it is representative of the price-value for ...
